My baby carrier is my best friend. It means I have free hands. If baby won't let me put him down I can carry him and still do jobs.
I don't need to bring a Pram, it helps strengthen their neck and back muscles. Also I love the extra cuddles. You need a carrier that distributes the weight across your back and shoulders and don't pull too much. The baby needs have a wide enough or adjustable seat so that the baby is well supported. The baby needs to sit high enough on you that they are kissing distance.
